... Why Leaders Lack Emotional Intelligence

... What I Have Learned About the Demand-Driven Journey

... How Starting a New Job Is Like Dating

Of course I’m interested in those articles! They all are in my field, they help me do my job better and manage my time in the work place.

They also were all served up to me on LinkedIn Pulse, because LinkedIn knows exactly the topics that I want to learn more about. And just how do they know? Because I’ve followed the right LinkedIn Pulse channels.

Today, I want to help you find and follow articles on LinkedIn that you’re going to love reading every day.

What Is LinkedIn Pulse?

First, let's back up a step.

If you don’t know what LinkedIn Pulse is, I’ll give you an overview. Pulse is the collection of all different articles posted to LinkedIn to help you learn and advance your career. In the beginning, Pulse was only an avenue for the most popular business people (INfluencers, they call them) to post articles. For example, Bill Gates or Arianna Huffington would write an article and it would be shared publicly for all members to read.

As you can imagine, Pulse gained popularity really fast and helped kick LinkedIn’s popularity into overdrive.

Now, everyone can post articles (yes, this includes you). If they’re popular, they will be added to the appropriate Pulse channel on LinkedIn and be open to any LinkedIn member to read.

Therefore, if I publish an article about the supply chain, it will be visible on the logistics and supply chain channel, so that only people that are interested in it will be offered it. Customized content at it’s best!

These channels can be customized by you to automatically to show you the articles you’d be most interested in every day. They also email you a roundup of these articles every once in a while too (I get mine once a week).

To follow the group, simply click on the links below and click the follow button on the top right hand corner, like this:
