The taste profile and color can change significantly depending on the olives used, the harvest time, and many more factors. 2. If you need a light color and taste, a [refined grade](https://www.centrafoods.com/blog/bid/323452/The-Differences-Between-the-Bulk-Olive-Oil-Grades-Pure-Refined-and-Pomace) like Pure Olive Oil, Refined Olive Oil or Olive Pomace Oil may be the best choice for you. 3. If you need to reduce the cost of your bulk oil ingredient, consider a [blend](https://www.centrafoods.com/products/oils/blends) of Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a cheaper oil like Non-GMO Canola Oil or Safflower Oil. The blend can be made in any custom ratio to help you meet your price goals. 4. The [most common oils](https://www.centrafoods.com/blog/5-most-popular-bulk-oil-ingredients-used-in-natural-specialty-foods) used in the natural and speciality foods industry right now are: Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Non-GMO Canola Oil, Non-GMO High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Non-GMO High Oleic Safflower Oil, Grapeseed Oil and Rice Bran Oil. 5. Before selecting your oil, receive samples for your R&D team to run tests with. That will help you select the right type of oil along with the best suppliers for your ingredients.
