Olive Pomace Oil is most commonly a solvent extracted oil, similar to all seed oils like Soybean and Canola. The process uses heat and a solvent to extract the remaining oil out of the Olive Pomace.  This process is inherently not organic.   In the US, the most common grade of Certified Organic Olive Oil is the Extra Virgin.  Although, sometimes you can also find Organic Virgin Olive Oil.  Be wary of any suppliers that may advertise Organic Olive Pomace Oil; to be honest, we’re not sure what you’ll be getting!   Want to learn more?
